Sibenik – a town in Croatia. Located in the central part of the Adriatic coast, at the confluence of the river Krka in the Adriatic Sea. Capital County Sibenik-Knin. Vukovar – a town in Croatia, in the eastern part of the country, on the river Danube. The second largest city (after the city of Vinkovci) in Vukovar-Srijem County.

Vukovar – the largest Croatian town and port on the Danube. It is located at an altitude of 108 meters in 20 kilometers east of the town of Vinkovci and 36 km south-east of Osijek. Through the city passes highway car Osijek – Vukovar – Ilok and railway line Vukovar – Vinkovci.

The main attractions of the city – the Franciscan Monastery (1688), Bishop’s Palace (1777), many churches have been completely destroyed by the bombing of the JNA. Their recovery continues.

Ogulin – city in Croatia, in the central part of the country. The second largest city in the Karlovac County. The city is located at the foot of Klek at an altitude of 323 meters above sea level. Near the town is a narrow and deep canyon of the river Dobra.

Ogulin is first mentioned in 1500. Its foundation is connected with the name of one of the most prominent members of the famous family Frankopan – Bernard Prince Frankopan. After the destruction of the Turkish neighborhoods in 1493, Bernard founded a new fort to protect against them – Ogulin. It is believed that the name comes from the Latin «ob gula» (on the cliff), which refers to a deep and steep valley good. Ogulin in 1573 became part of the royal lands and became a fortress as part of Military border.

In 1873 the city passed through the railroad Zagreb – Rijeka, which caused great economic boom and the development of the city.

In 1920 the city became part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, later Yugoslavia. Since 1991 – as a part of independent Croatia. During the war for independence in Croatia in 1991-1992 Ogulin been attacked army self-proclaimed “Serbian Krajina”, but the attack was repulsed.
