Luxurious city, where for several centuries there is a huge Serbian community, the famous main square, Szentháromság tér. One side of this square opens onto the shore of the Danube. On the other hand towering house in the Baroque style, built in the XVIII century. Among them is the city hall. Every year in mid-summer there is a Festival soup: hundreds of residents of the city conjure with cauldrons of fish stew, a mandatory ingredient which is capsicum.

On the North side of the square is a Museum Turra Stephen, dedicated to the history and development of the Baja and the Danube. Opposite to it is a Franciscan Church with beautiful bell-tower in Baroque style, erected in 1756.

In the Northern part of the city is the synagogue, built in the late XIX century. Today it hosts the public library, and only the Hebrew inscription over the entrance to the building says about his past. At St Miklos is located the Serbian Church, founded in the late XVIII century. The main attraction of the temple is the best in Hungary, the Orthodox iconostasis, reaching 10 meters in height.
