Queenstown — the main tourist center of New Zealand. Here you will find something to amuse fans of extreme sports, eco-tourists and ordinary “tour” (if the term “simple” is generally applicable to New Zealand). The town itself is quite pleasant, pleasing a large number of bars and restaurants, a pretty harbour and interesting shops.

Between the new Zealand cities by bus, however, prices are a little expensive: from Wellington to Auckland a ticket will cost around 80-100 NZD. Between the North and South Islands regularly ferries, with a journey time of 2 to 3 hours, the cost of travel from 45 to 70 NZD. Tickets are best booked in advance. To take a car rental, will have to fork out 60 NZD per day (insurance included).

The city bus ride is 1.5 to 2.5 NZD. Taxi is widely used and is 4-5 NZD per kilometer.

very beautiful and cozy streets of the capital of New Zealand, Wellington zoo and the famous Hamilton gardens, Underwater World Kelly Tarleton” in Oakland or the “adrenaline capital” of the North island — Taupo. You can also go to the full English flavor of Christchurch or a typical provincial town of Rotorua, surrounded by hundreds of thermal springs, geyser fountains and unique hot waterfall. Finally, perched on the edge of the earth, it would be a shame to ignore the neighbor of Australia and its “unrecognized” capital — Sydney.

a wide variety of hotels and apartments to suit every taste and budget can be found in the largest cities of the North island — Wellington and Auckland. Looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday in the new Zealand Outback, it should go to Hamilton, the lovers of extreme sports, skydiving and mountain Biking direct road to Taupo, and wishing to improve their health and to enjoy the natural beauty — in the thermal resort of Rotorua.

Wellington is an extraordinarily beautiful and comfortable city, whose abundance of bridges, viaducts, tunnels, parks and gardens. Here are preserved many buildings from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The most striking facet of this diamond and the building of the Parliament called the beehive for its round form. It is a complex of buildings (Parliament house, Bowen house, the Library, the Executive wing). Address: Northern part of the district of Lambton quay Kwai. Idly strolling through the halls of a monument of new Zealand’s history is available daily from 9.00 to 17.00, with the exception of the Executive wing, which was closed for tours. Then look in the Central library, the archive which houses more than four hundred thousands of publications, many of which are of historical value. The main rule: in the library should be quiet! Opposite the former Palace of the government, the world’s second-largest building made of wood.

Draws attention to St. Paul’s Cathedral. A special pride of the city can be considered a zoo, where animals live in spacious open enclosures.
