Kristiansund is a city that is the center of Millstatt, which is located in the County of møre og County of møre og Romsdal. The city itself is located on an island off the coast and is a port in the Western part of Norway.

Nearby are the other Islands inhabited mainly by fishermen. Between the Islands there is a ferry connection, and between some of the bridges. Along the coast in these parts is the route the Atlantic road, which is considered one of the most scenic highways in the world, as it includes not only the mainland, but those bridges between the Islands. The Atlantic road consists of a dozen bridges, two-lane traffic on it, and the views while driving is fantastic, especially the thrills of the journey, during a light storm. The road connects the city of Kristiansund Molde. It was opened in the late 80-ies, and in the late ‘ 90s travel on it did free. The feature of Atlantic road – bridge Storisende or “the Drunk bridge”, so named for the curving shape and as “high” up the canvas. If you look at it from a certain point, the fabric of the bridge is interrupted.

In Kristiansund and the surrounding area offers a wide choice of active pastime. Mehamn is the administrative centre of Gamvik Municipality in Finnmark county, Norway. The village is located on the small Vedvik peninsula, itself part of the greater Nordkinn Peninsula, at the southern end of the Mehamnfjorden, a bay off of the Barents Sea. The village of Gamvik lies about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) to the east and the village of Kjøllefjord (in Lebesby Municipality) lies about 30 kilometres (19 mi) to the southwest. Mehamn Chapel is located in this village. The 0.54-square-kilometre (130-acre) village has a population (2013) of 737, which gives the village a population density of 1,365 inhabitants per square kilometre (3,540/sq mi).

Mehamnfjorden during polar night, with Normannsethfjorden and Vedvikneset just north of Mehamn. Reipnakktinden as well as a sugarhead of Kinnarodden − the northernmost point on the Nordkinn Peninsula − are visible at the far end.
Norwegian County Road 888 connects Mehamn to the European route E06 highway at the base of the Nordkinn Peninsula, and from there on to the towns of Kirkenes in the east and Alta in the west. Mehamn is a port of call for the Hurtigruten coastal ship. Mehamn is also connected by air via Mehamn Airport, with services by Widerøe to the nearby town of Tromsø.
