Trencin – industrial city in western Slovakia. Located 10 km from the Czech border, on the Vah river, on the site of a Roman legion Laugaritsio. It is the center of Trenčín region and Trenčín region. On the cliff, located in the middle of the city, it is a typical medieval castle, built in 1069 AD.

Small Fatra (Slovak. Malá Fatra), mountain range in the Žilina region in Slovakia, part of the Fatra-Tatra Area. The highest point – Mount Krivan, Velky (1708 m). Mala Fatra is famous for its numerous gorges and waterfalls and rock formations.

The core of the mountain range formed by granite rocks, but with most of the ridge is formed by folded rocks such as dolomite and limestone.

Interestingly, Mala Fatra above Large. Mala Fatra is divided into two parts:

Luchanskaya or Lucania (the highest mountain here Velka Luka, 1476 m)
Krivanskaya (within it is a great Vrátna Valley, which is archaic and picturesque village Stefanova).

Michalovce – a small town in the east of Slovakia, in the territory of Eastern Slovak Lowland. The first mention of Michalovce comes with 1244 as Michal settlement. In 1867 Michalovce was endowed with city status, and they became a district center. Mihalovets peculiarity is the fact that a quarter of the population are Orthodox and the Uniates.

According to legend, it was the legendary precursor of Mihalovets Svirzhava town on the banks of the river of the same name, where the Hungarians killed Prince Labortsa. In the IX century the area Zemplínska Territory was part of the Great Moravian Empire, the remains of pre-Romanesque rotunda preserved from those times. In the XIII century Zemplin area is part of the Hungarian kingdom. The first mention of Michalovce comes with 1244 as Michal settlement.
